Terms of Use

Welcome to TisreoCare (“TisreoCare,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our websites, content, newsletters, and any related features or services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1) Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Services.
  • Some features may require an account. You’re responsible for safeguarding credentials and for all activity on your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.

2) Acceptable Use

You may use the Services only for lawful, non-commercial purposes (unless we expressly permit otherwise). You agree not to: (a) probe or bypass security; (b) scrape, harvest, or access via bots without permission; (c) upload malware or spam; (d) post content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, exploitative, or invasive of privacy; or (e) interfere with operation of the Services. We may monitor, suspend, or terminate access for suspected violations.

3) Health, Safety & Editorial Disclaimers

  • Educational only. Articles and tools (including on heat-resilient living, sleep ecology, accessibility, aging solo, respiratory-friendly homes, nutrition, end-of-life care, and caregiving) are informational and not medical, legal, financial, or professional advice.
  • No client–provider relationship. Use of the Services does not create any professional relationship. Consult qualified professionals for your situation.
  • Emergencies: If you are in danger, contact local emergency services immediately.
  • Editorial independence: Mentions of tools/services are informational unless explicitly labeled otherwise.

4) User Content & Moderation (incl. EU DSA transparency)

You may be able to submit comments, reviews, or other user-generated content (“UGC”).

  • Your responsibility: You warrant you have rights to your UGC and that it’s lawful and accurate.
  • License to us: You grant TisreoCare a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (formatting/display), publish, and display your UGC in connection with the Services.
  • Moderation: We may review, refuse, or remove UGC at our discretion.

EU users (DSA): Where we offer hosting/comment features in the EU, we maintain clear terms on moderation standards and provide an EU-compliant notice-and-action channel. 5) Intellectual Property

The Services (including text, designs, logos, images, compilations, and software) are owned by or licensed to TisreoCare and protected by applicable laws. Except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works. You retain ownership of your UGC, subject to the license above.

6) Privacy & International Data Rights (summary)

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data and how to exercise your rights.

  • EU/UK residents: We honor requests consistent with the GDPR territorial scope (e.g., when we target the EU/UK). European Data Protection Board 
  • California residents: We honor rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA (e.g., notice, access, deletion, opt-out of sale/sharing). privacy.ca.gov 
  • Quebec residents: We honor requirements under Law 25 (including heightened protections for minors and consent rules). Légis Québec 

Where local law grants you non-waivable consumer or privacy rights, those rights prevail to the extent required.

7) Accessibility

8) Third-Party Links & Services

The Services may link to third-party sites or integrate third-party tools. We don’t control or endorse them and aren’t responsible for their content or policies. Your use is at your own risk and subject to third-party terms.

9) Changes to the Services

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without liability. We may update these Terms; the Effective Date above shows the latest revision. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

10) Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND AVAILABILITY. We do not warrant the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11) Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TISREOCARE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS (IF ANY) YOU PAID TO USE THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

12) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TisreoCare and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your UGC; or (c) your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

13) Export Controls & Sanctions

You must comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws when using the Services and may not use the Services where prohibited.

14) Governing Law; Venue; Local Consumer Rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be brought in the courts of India, except that mandatory consumer protection laws in your country/region of residence apply to the extent they cannot be waived.

15) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, including for suspected violations. Sections that by nature should survive termination do so (e.g., IP, privacy, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, governing law).

16) Miscellaneous

  • Severability: If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
  • No Waiver: Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign as allowed by law.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms + the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement for the Services.
